Immediate opening: we are hiring a commercial tyre fitter in Jackson Parish, Louisiana. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. Day to day you will handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies; remove and refit hub caps and locking wheel nuts; repair punctures with mushroom plugs and internal patches; demount worn tyres from rims using a tyre changer machine; fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly. Requirements: • Comfortable working outdoors and in all weathers • Awareness of workshop health and safety Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift.
