Gardener — Mercer County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gardener in Mercer County, North Dakota. You will be based on a golf course. Day to day you will mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; spray pesticides and fungicides to control pests and disease; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. Ideal candidate: • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting Rotating shifts.
