Great opportunity: we are hiring a garment machinist in Platte County, Missouri. Day-to-day duties: • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
