We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Decatur County, Iowa. Day-to-day duties: • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position • Read lift plans and method statements before starting You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear 3+ years on the tools preferred.
