Now hiring: we are hiring a surface coating operator in San Diego County, California. The job is at a powder coating unit. On a typical shift you will keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well; mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape; pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks; top up and monitor pre-treatment chemical bath concentrations; reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse. You should have: • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens • Able to stand long shifts and lift parts up to 20 kg Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate.
