Aluminium tig welder wanted in Macon County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an aluminium tig welder in Macon County, Georgia. You will be based on an industrial construction site. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium On a typical shift you will set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,000 per month plus benefits.
