Groundskeeper wanted in New Kent County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundskeeper in New Kent County, Virginia. The job is on a golf course. Your main tasks: • Lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn • Check and adjust sprinkler timers and irrigation heads • Sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades • Cut back tree branches and clear overhanging limbs • Plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings • Weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Valid driving licence for travel between sites • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage Full-time with occasional weekends.
