Now hiring: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in City and Borough of Birmingham, England. The role involves set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish; apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour; mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio; apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels; apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun. You should have: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Physically fit to stand, bend and crouch for long periods Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
