On the job you will handle: • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Drill drainage and pressure-equalisation slots in the outer frame • Rout lock and hardware pockets with the copy router • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication Ideal candidate: • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine • Comfortable handling and lifting glazed units safely 5+ years on the tools preferred. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
