Vacancy available: we are hiring a butcher in Ford County, Illinois. You will be based in a hotel or restaurant butchery. On the job you will handle: • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights What we are looking for: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Quick and accurate on the weighing scales and order maths 1+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
