Brick and block layer wanted in Lancaster County

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays Requirements: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
