Great opportunity: we are hiring a finishing presser in McNairy County, Tennessee. You will work in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Overtime paid at a premium rate.
