Sample machinist — Lumpkin County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sample machinist in Lumpkin County, Georgia. You will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching. What we are looking for: • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
