Pipe TIG welder wanted in North Lanarkshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pipe TIG welder in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces Full-time, day shift. £2,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
