Join our team: we are hiring a production welder in Lewis County, New York. The job is in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Your main tasks: • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Ideal candidate: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Willing to work shifts and overtime A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
