GMAW welder wanted in Ellis County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Ellis County, Texas. The role involves clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; grind back and re-weld any defective runs; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent Rotating shifts. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
