Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding erector in Rappahannock County, Virginia. You will be based on a bridge maintenance job. The role involves erect tube-and-fitting and system scaffolds such as Cuplok and Kwikstage; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; tie the scaffold back to the building with through-ties and anchors; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner. Requirements: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment • Knowledge of safe loading, bracing and tie patterns Full-time with occasional weekends.
