Reinforcement steel fixer — Degema

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a reinforcement steel fixer in Degema, Rivers State. You will work at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day-to-day duties: • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
