Fabricator-welder — Frio County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Frio County, Texas. Requirements: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • ITI in welder trade or equivalent On a typical shift you will tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols.
