Immediate opening: we are hiring a waitress in Petersburg Borough, Alaska. You will be based in a coffee shop. On a typical shift you will handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; clear and reset tables between covers; upsell starters, desserts and beverages; pour water, wine and soft drinks and serve from the guest's left; coordinate order timing with the kitchen and the bar. Requirements: • Prior experience as a waiter in a restaurant or hotel • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Smart, well-groomed appearance and a clean uniform 5+ years on the tools preferred.
