Finishing presser — Monroe County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a finishing presser in Monroe County, Michigan. The job is at a textile finishing unit. You will remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. Requirements: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work $27 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
