Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machinist in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. You will work in a die and mould making unit. Requirements: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T The role involves set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
