Fabricator-welder — Lewis County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Lewis County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection Day-to-day duties: • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish 1+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
