Backhoe operator — South Ayrshire

Immediate opening: we are hiring a backhoe operator in South Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is in an open-cast quarry. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site The role involves clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient.
