Vacancy available: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Gadsden County, Florida. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. What we are looking for: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules The role involves bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules. 6+ years on the tools preferred.
