Now hiring: we are hiring a retail butcher in Grant County, Arkansas. You will be based at a halal meat counter. Your main tasks: • Keep halal cuts separated and clearly handled • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools • Mince meat and prepare keema on the grinder • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date You should have: • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
