Skimming plasterer — Butler County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a skimming plasterer in Butler County, Pennsylvania. Day to day you will apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming; float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge; clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets. Ideal candidate: • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided.
