Now hiring: offshore rigger (Ekiti State)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. You should have: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Confident with standard crane hand signals On a typical shift you will check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks; read lift plans and method statements before starting; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear. Six days a week, one day off. Pay around ₦450 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
