QC technician — Effingham County

Join our team: we are hiring a QC technician in Effingham County, Illinois. The job is at a busy manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • Good eyesight and colour vision for visual inspection • Willing to work rotating and night shifts The role involves inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; log batch numbers, lot codes and traceability data; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; escalate recurring defects to the line supervisor or QA engineer. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
