We are recruiting: pressman (Alabama)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pressman in Lauderdale County, Alabama. You will be based in a busy laundry. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine You will use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
