Semi-automatic welder — Shelby County

Now hiring: we are hiring a semi-automatic welder in Shelby County, Missouri. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Day-to-day duties: • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration What we are looking for: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
