Excavator operator • McDowell County, North Carolina

We are recruiting: we are hiring an excavator operator in McDowell County, North Carolina. You will be based on a housing development site. What we are looking for: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control Day to day you will track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Full-time, day shift. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
