Urgent requirement: we are hiring an aluminium fitter in Cass County, Illinois. You will work at a doors and windows manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of standard sliding, casement and openable sections • Skilled on cutting, crimping and punching machines • Accurate to the millimetre on cuts and mitre joints Day-to-day duties: • Assemble window and door frames from extruded sections • Fabricate and fit aluminium composite panel (ACP) cladding • Install glass panels and secure them with glazing beads • Apply silicone sealant and weather seals around the frames Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
