Now hiring: we are hiring a glass and glazing technician in Chautauqua County, Kansas. You will work at a double glazing firm. On a typical shift you will grind and polish cut edges to take off the sharp arris; apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass; fit double-glazed sealed units into frames; handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame; install toughened and laminated safety glass. You should have: • Skilled with silicone guns, putty and glazing tools • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Driving licence for site-to-site work preferred We offer $9,500 per project plus benefits.
