Aluminium and glass installer — Staffordshire

Great opportunity: we are hiring an aluminium and glass installer in Staffordshire, England. What we are looking for: • Able to cut glass accurately to size • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves • Proven experience as a glazier or glass fitter The role involves: • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Measure window and door openings and order glass to size • Secure glass with glazing beads, clips and points • Handle large panes using suction cups and a lifting frame • Read drawings and setting-out details for glazing layouts Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
