We are recruiting: moulder (Georgia)

Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Emanuel County, Georgia. You will be based in the melting bay of a steel foundry. On the job you will handle: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring What we are looking for: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer $17 per hour plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
