Urgent requirement: vacuum press operator (Alaska)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Yukon-Koyukuk Census Area, Alaska. The job is in a garment export house. The role involves: • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press • Give each garment a final press before packing • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments What we are looking for: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings Rotating shifts.
