Immediate opening: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Hancock County, Mississippi. What we are looking for: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements • Current Driver CPC qualification card Your main tasks: • Check tyre pressures, engine oil, coolant and brake fluid levels • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off 1+ years on the tools preferred.
