Rebar installer wanted in Otero County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Otero County, Colorado. You will be based on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Your main tasks: • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
