Urgent requirement: we are hiring a roofing labourer in McKinley County, New Mexico. You will be based at a roofing and cladding contractor. Ideal candidate: • A driving licence is an advantage for site travel • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems Day-to-day duties: • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Nail down asphalt shingles in staggered courses • Set out battens to the correct gauge and spacing • Solder and seam standing-seam metal roof sheets • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
