Concrete worker • Orleans County, Vermont

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete worker in Orleans County, Vermont. You will work at a ready-mix concrete plant. The role involves: • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
