Concrete finisher — Lincoln County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Lincoln County, West Virginia. The job is in a residential housing project. What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE Day-to-day duties: • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms • Give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
