Immediate opening: precision welder (Arkansas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a precision welder in Arkansas County, Arkansas. You will work at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters Ideal candidate: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
