Immediate opening: wood machinist (Alabama)

Now hiring: we are hiring a wood machinist in Marengo County, Alabama. You will be based on a busy construction site. On the job you will handle: • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles • Glue, clamp, screw and dowel joints together • Install skirting boards, architraves and dado rails • Assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools • Accurate to fine tolerances on finish work • CSCS card for site-based work an advantage 5+ years on the tools preferred.
