Structural MIG welder wanted in City of Winchester

Vacancy available: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in City of Winchester, Virginia. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions Ideal candidate: • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Part-time with flexible hours.
