Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Damban, Bauchi State. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Day-to-day duties: • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Inspect scaffolding, full-body harnesses and lifelines for work at height • Ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates We offer ₦100,000 per month plus benefits.
