Join our team: we are hiring a framing carpenter in Mid Ulster, Northern Ireland. The job is on a commercial fit-out site. Requirements: • Good eye for detail and a clean finish • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings The role involves: • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Plane and sand timber to a smooth, square finish • Erect formwork and shuttering for concrete pours • Cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet • Hang internal and external doors, fitting hinges, locks and handles 2+ years on the tools preferred.
