Steel fixing chargehand — Missoula County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a steel fixing chargehand in Missoula County, Montana. The job is on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. You should have: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level You will cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour.
