MIG/MAG welder — Ards and North Down

Great opportunity: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Ards and North Down, Northern Ireland. You will work at a pipe and tank fabrication yard. You should have: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Control distortion with a balanced welding sequence • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
