Join our team: we are hiring an argon arc welder in East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. What we are looking for: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage Day to day you will keep the arc length and travel speed consistent; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks; grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
